About My Practice

Therapeutic Orientation

My work is informed by my years of clinical education and practice in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Psychodynamic therapy is a highly developed treatment model that helps us to gain perspective on why we are the way we are in an effort to better support us in making long-lasting changes.

Using a developmental and attachment perspective, you can expect our work to include an exploration of early life experiences to better understand their influence on your current perceptions, emotions, and relationships. We may also examine various behavioral and interpersonal patterns and work to strengthen your awareness of external symptomatic manifestations of your struggles while also considering the often unconscious forces at play.

I approach my role as a therapist from a holistic lens, recognizing that each person’s life is a complex tapestry woven from emotional, physical, and spiritual threads. I consider myself a compassionate and dedicated therapist who embraces a warm, client-centered approach to counseling. With a deep commitment to understanding each individual’s unique journey, I prioritize active listening and empathic understanding. By fostering a collaborative relationship, I serve as the guide in the therapeutic process.

They do no harm, they simply grow.”
